Description
Art Experience:
Curator of Exhibits, San Diego Museum of Natural History. Hall of fish made including an underwater diorama. Morro Bay State Museum displayed 25 replica fish. Both exhibits now retired. My web site displays some of the more recent oils, and acrylic paintings on canvas board or stretched canvas.
Several Educational Merit awards from the Del Mar County Fair. Honorable Mention from Olde Ramona Hotel Gallery and from Off Track Gallery with a first place for an oil painting on stretched canvas. July and August an "H2O" creation on display (for sale) at the San Diego Art Institute in Balboa Park. Arizona State University a Master of Science degree to name one.
Started as a Docent at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve in 1990 after giving a marine live presentation to the Docent Membership. That was a bit more than 18 years ago. Invested in a Plein Air Art Easel and practicing using it.
